With the MSK 120 Kathrein offers a compact, portable digital
measurement instrument for Sat-IF reception systems. The day-light
compatible 5,7" TFT screen is designed to display video for both SD
(MPEG-2) and HD (MPEG-4) programmes in suitable high definition. An
integrated CI interface is available to allow the decryption of
encrypted programmes. The control and selection menu and measurement
results are both displayed on the instrument's screen.
The instrument has been specifically designed for field use,
integrated in a robust metal housing with front panel control using
a completely encapsulated keyboard, and powered by a hi-value
lithium-polymer battery. Delivered together with a robust protective
case, the MSK 120 is ready for every-day operation.
Logically built up menu structures, with several satellites
and many programmes presaved support extremely simple handling.
